2 Days Marrakech to Zagora Desert Tour

After breakfast in your hotel/Riad, we will pick you up at 08 am before embarking on our private 2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora. Drive across the spectacular Atlas Mountains with the option to include stops for taking pictures, visiting the Argan cooperative, or just to chill out.

After driving through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), we will reach the dramatic Ait Benhaddou where we will have a guided walking tour of this unique masterpiece of architecture. Ait Benhaddou consists of many Kasbahs (fortresses) forming a striking example of southern architecture with four towers, high walls, and small windows.

After lunch, we will resume our 2 days desert trip to Zagora from Marrakech by driving through the impressive Anti-Atlas Mountains, the lush palm valley of Draa before reaching Zagora in the late afternoon.

Go on a camel trek across the barren desert while enjoying the breathtaking view of the sunset. After arriving at the desert camp, you will be served dinner under the stars in a romantic setting, or inside the tented restaurant before spending a relaxing night in your tent.

Wake up in the early morning, climb up the nearby sandy hill to attend the majestic view of the sunrise. After having breakfast, we will head back to Marrakech following the same road while including a short break in the city of Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). 

The city is famous for the Atlas Film Studios that have turned the region into a backdrop for filmmakers such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Sahara, Lawrence of Arabia, and many others. Later, we will cross the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon hoping you had a memorable experience with us.
